Great Staff!

I moved to Baltimore about two weeks ago and decided to take my time finding a place. After a week and a half with no luck I was completely ready to be off my friends couch. I called and set up a viewing appointment at the Marylander on a Saturday at 4 and I had keys to my place by 6. The staff was really friendly and helpful, they even stayed past office hours after I told them that I loved the place and that I wanted to move in asap. The neighborhood has a lot going on with plenty of 24 hour shops within walking distance. I'm close enough to the city to enjoy city life but I also feel very safe in this area.

Okay living!

I have been at my apartment since August and it is going well so far. The staff in the office is friendly but most of the time there is only one person working. The maintainence team is awesome! I like it here so far.

Don't live here!

I lived in the Marylander for about 7 months during my third year at the University of Maryland College of Medicine. The reason I’m posting this review is to highly advise those of you looking for housing to avoid the Marylander if you value your sleep. I had to leave home every day around 7:30 in the morning in order to get to the medical campus on time; however, this became an issue when I couldn’t sleep enough hours to be successful. The walls in the Marylander are exceptionally thin, and I lived next to a group of friends that seemed to make it their mission to have parties every night, resulting in me being kept up all night due to the noise. When I asked the Marylander office about the issue, hoping they would inform my neighbors about my situation and have them keep their noise down, I received a curt nod from the lady at the desk, who quickly jotted some notes down. Over the course of the next week, the daily parties did not end, and I continued to not sleep. After several tries at having the Marylander administration either thicken the walls of my room or do something about the fact that my neighbors were party animals, I began to realize that they simply just didn’t care. It was obvious that the staff was morally ill-equipped to oversee keeping their residents happy. So I urge you to make sure that whatever building you choose to live in (hopefully not the Marylander) has a staff that genuinely does care about your well-being and comfortableness as their resident.

Current Resident

Just moved in to the Marylander on 02/13/2019 the atmosphere as well as the energy was great, the apartments are a great size with modern appliances, they even had a pop up shop with IBake things in the lobby with delicious treats. I can tell I will enjoy living herder

Apartment review

The Marylander is a good place for dog owners and college students. There are some issues with the building’s heating but it works well as a starter apartment.
